quote of the day
Courage is the art of being the only one who knows you’re scared to death.

thought of the day
I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit–fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. This is my command: Love each other.
John 15:15-17
Jesus has made the knowledge of our Heavenly Father’s “business” available to us. He is our Friend and wants to make known to us His thoughts and plans for our lives. Normally what happens, however, is that we are not available to Him. We are too busy “running our own business” to listen to what He has and wants for us.
“How do I know God’s will for my life?” Simple, abide in the branch. Read His Word, pray and seek His face daily. His will comes as naturally as an apple tree bearing apples. You never see an apple tree struggling to bear fruit. The fruit is the natural by-product of the tree. Our fruit should come just as naturally by the supernatural work of God living in us. By spending time with the Lord and in the Lord, He will put you in places and situations where you will be able to share the fruit of your personal devotions with those around you. Stop struggling to find God’s will. Abide in Him and you will bear fruit that lasts. It’s His promise to us!
